Tolstoy's Samovar
Our tribute to a traditional Russian tea, named after one of our favourite authors. Caravans would transport tea on the long journey from Russia to China, and the smoke from the nightly campfires would infuse into the tea, giving it a distinct smokey flavor reminiscent of a mild Lapsang Souchong.

Tasting Notes: Smokey, woody, Scotch, anise, mild astringency, subtle sweetness.
Drinking Recommendation: Hot with a touch of lemon.
Product Note: 1 ounce of loose-leaf tea typically yields 5 to 8 cups of tea.

Steeping Information
Steep for 4 minutes using 212ºF (100ºC) water.Start with 1 tsp of loose tea, then add 1 tsp per 8oz of water. For example, a 16oz teapot will use 3 tsp of tea.Black Tea
