La Cumbre Black
La Cumbre Black
9 in stock
Grown between 1800 and 2050 meters above sea level in the cloud forests of the Andes, La Cumbre Black is a fine example of a Darjeeling-style tea. A medium body with a very smooth flavour profile makes this a great tea to try without any milk or sugar.
Tasting Notes: Orchids, sugar cane, slight sweetness, vegetal, mild astringency.
Drinking Recommendation: Hot with milk and/or sugar.
Product Note: 1 ounce of loose-leaf tea typically yields 5 to 8 cups of tea.

Tried this tea hot but not a fan of the taste but I love this tea cold. Made ice tea by steeping it in the sun, added some agave to it after it was done and poured it over ice.
La Cumbre appears only occasionally on the website. I hope to see it in larger
quantities in the future. It truly is the best!
