Darjeeling: Margaret's Hope Estate
Darjeeling: Margaret's Hope Estate
6 in stock
A terrific everyday Darjeeling from the foothills of the Himalayas. The proprietor of this tea garden named it after his daughter, who had loved visiting the garden and passed away at an early age in the 1930s. This Darjeeling is plucked during the second flush harvest, and is aromatic and slightly sweet.
Tasting Notes: Muscatel, lilies, hyacinth, oregano, mellow.
Drinking Recommendation: Hot with milk, no sugar.
Product Note: 1 ounce of loose-leaf tea typically yields 5 to 8 cups of tea.

I regularly drink at least two cups of tea a day, and I cycle through about 3-5 black teas. This is a go-to that I always have in stock. It's a perfect everyday tea; smooth and not too strong or bitter. I take it back, but it's a nice base for anything you'd like; lemon or sugar. If I had to choose just 3 teas forever, this would be one of them.
Excellent tea and excellent customer service at The London Tea Merchant!
This is one of my favorite teas. I love it. It tastes so good, with or without sugar. If you like a good Darjeeling, this is the tea for you.
