Directamente desde las tierras bajas de Assam llega un té de muy alta calidad y uno de los tés más fuertes que ofrecemos. Este té se produce en Khongea Estate y se recolecta durante la segunda cosecha. Tiene la punta dorada, lo que le da un perfil de sabor más dulce y suave .
Notas de cata: Cerveza terrosa, maltosa, fuerte, con mucho cuerpo y agradable astringencia.
Recomendación de bebida: Caliente con leche, sin azúcar.
Nota del producto: 1 onza de té de hojas sueltas normalmente produce X tazas de té.

Steep for 4 minutes using 212ºF (100ºC) water. Start with 1 tsp of loose tea, then add 1 tsp per 8oz of water. For example, a 16oz teapot will use 3 tsp of tea. Black Tea

I have gotten this Assam tea a few times in the past from LTM but never has it wowed me as much as it has this time. Definitely rich and malty but also a nice nuanced bright fruity element. I'm not sure what year this batch is from. I'm guessing 2023? That would be my feedback to the team. Putting harvest date info on the packaging would be ideal. I'm a major fan of Mei Leaf's SCOPE system and wish more tea providers would adopt it. Regardless, great tea and I hope to find it matches this year's quality, or gets even better, in years to come.
I have been drinking this tea for several years and never get tired of it.
This is a very full-bodied black tea. I love it and have been ordering it for several years.
